Amtrak unveils new black, Hispanic print and online campaign for Acela service

(March 11, 2009) Amtrak on March 10, broke a new Acela Express print and online ad campaign targeting African American and Hispanic consumers.

Meanwhile, the national railroad service on Wednesday, March 11, followed with the launch of a TV branding spot for passenger rail service.

Comedy Central cancels David Alan Greir's 'Chocolate News'

(March 9, 2009) Television has suffered a sudden hemorrhage of black men. Within days of D.L. Hughley's CNN show being cancelled, Comedy Central announced Tuesday that David Alan Grier's "Chocolate News" has also been given a pink slip.

NABOB Presents its 25th Annual Communications Awards Dinner

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters and the NABOB Foundation will host their 25th Annual Communications Awards Dinner, Thursday, March 19, 2009, 7:00 p.m., at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road NW, in Washington, D.C.
