Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of Nov. 16 - 22
TBS topples Monday Night Football thanks to Tyler Perry's comedies

(November 27, 2009) Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns and House of Payne took a clean sweep of the most watched cable shows in black households, beating out Monday Night Football for the first time since the football season began. The NFL match-up between the Steelers and Broncos was one million black viewers short of what last week's game pulled in, giving TBS the first through fourth spots on the Top 25.

TBS was the week's most watched cable network in black homes, with 11.2 million tuning in six of its top shows. Nickelodeon and Nick-At-Nite came in second with 7.2 million, most of that for Everybody Hates Chris. ESPN was third with 4.1 million  viewers.
