Sahara Media launches HoneyMag.com 2.0 with more interactive, video features

(November 16, 2009) Sahara Media Holdings (SHHD.OB), a New York City based digital media company, unveiled today the redesign of digital lifestyle portal HoneyMag.com. New enhancements include improved interactive features, user-friendly functionality and a sleek, modern design. The redesign also includes the launch of HoneyTV, a new video portal featuring breaking news, gossip, celebrity interviews and user generated videos.

The HoneyMag.com 2.0 platform also extends the site's social media components via a blog network comprised of leading bloggers, actors, journalists and professionals.

“HoneyMag.com is a meeting place where consumer interests intersect with top brands and advertisers,” said Philmore Anderson IV, CEO of Sahara Media. “This redesign helps us enhance our audiences' experience while providing a unique platform for the advertising community to capture the mindshare of these consumers.”

New features of HoneyMag.com 2.0 include:

- Honey TV: The latest in fashion, beauty, entertainment news and music for the multicultural fashionista. HoneyTV will feature breaking news, user-created video and entertainment content from around the globe capturing the voice of HoneyMag.com.

- Swarm Blog Network: The Swarm is an energetic and open discussion featuring blog posts from a hand-selected and celebrated cadre of actors, artists, bloggers, journalists, professionals and thought leaders. Visitors will be able to promote ideas, share thoughts and engage in a lively community.

- Live Social Feeds: A new widget will allow readers to receive real-time updates from HoneyMag.com's Twitter and Facebook pages. Users will be able to aggregate the most recent information from the Swarm blog network all in one place.

- Careers Section: In partnership with Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN), the new careers section will offer job opportunities in fashion, entertainment and media. In addition, it will include profiles of top female executives and provide career advice.
