Robert Ingram named associate publisher, SVP of Career Communications Group

(October 28, 2008) Career Communications Group (CCG) CEO and publisher Tyrone D. Taborn is pleased to announce that Robert Ingram will return to CCG as Associate Publisher & Senior VP of Strategic Initiatives.

"I am pleased to have Bob back with CCG," states Taborn.  "During CCG's formative years, Bob started as a telemarketer and worked his way to become CCG's top advertising executive.  I have always hoped that he would consider bringing his energy and leadership back to CCG."

Robert Ingram returns to CCG after holding several senior executive positions in the media industry, including positions at Black Enterprise and Savoy Professional magazines and Vanguard Media.  Most recently, Bob served as the VP of Diversity Best Practices at Working Mother Media, where his passion and dedication led the organization to reach new heights.

During the mid-1990's, Bob left CCG to start his own publication, The Urban Health Report, which gained great acclaim in the medical field.  Upon sale of his publication, Bob began a successful career in multicultural marketing.  Under his direction, Black Enterprise spearheaded an unprecedented Top Companies in Diversity Initiative and the National Society of Black Engineers' corporate relations and support programs proliferated.  Bob was also instrumental in the founding and launching of the 2004 World Diversity Leadership Summit in Prague, Czech Republic.

CCG, a diversity leader in promotion of equal opportunity for minorities and women in STEM fields, reaches thousands of students and professionals each year through annual conferences, educational public awareness programs, inspiring magazines, and other products and services.  CCG produces the National Women of Color STEM Conference and Black Engineer of the Year STEM Global Competitiveness Conference. In addition, CCG publishes US Black Engineer & Information Technology, Women of Color, and Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazines.  For more information about the company's many products and services, please visit www.ccgmag.com.
