AboutThatCar.com launches blog to inform African-American auto buyers

(October 22, 2008) AboutThatCar.com has launched a new auto blog, AboutThatCar.Blogspot.Com.  eviews and streaming videos about new vehicles, future products and pricing data about used vehicles are some of the information that will be discussed on the blog.

"With the blog, we intend to be sassier and snappier," said Frank S. Washington, managing partner of AboutThatCar.com, Inc. "Subscribers and visitors to the blog will not only receive our latest postings, they will be able to comment on them as well and tell us about their own automotive experiences."

AboutThatCar.blogspot.com will be linked to the AboutThatCar.com Web site. AboutThatCar.com is dedicated to providing information about cars and light trucks to African-American consumers who are actively in the process of purchasing a vehicle, who aspire to own a vehicle, or who simply have a love affair with the automobile. In addition, the Web site provides information about automotive financing, automotive insurance rates and information about automotive safety.

"It will be a unique arena where African-American car owners and anybody else can share and exchange information about their automotive experiences," said Washington. AboutThatCar.Blogspot.com  is updated several times each week.

The company intends to start an automotive community where African-American car owners can share their good experiences, their gripes, their goofs, their recommendations and their warnings with others.

Washington has been writing about the U.S. automotive industry since 1988. He has won several awards for news gathering and automotive journalism. The launch of AboutThatCar.Blogspot.com coincides with the re-launch of Washington himself.

The veteran automotive journalist underwent six hours of reconstructive facial surgery after being stabbed and severely beaten last January. He said, "I'm back, I'm better and ready for business."
