TV Ratings for Week of October 6 - 12
Fox's 'The OT' keeps football at No.1; CBS programs overwhelm Top 25

(October 15, 2008) Football remained top of mind with black TV viewers, but the week's No.1 show wasn't an NFL game. It was the popular Fox post-game show, "The OT," which pulled 2.6 million black viewers on Sunday, Oct. 12th. NBC's "Sunday Night Football" still had more than two million viewers, dropped to fifth place.

CBS easily dominated with most watched network category, with 18.2 million viewers. ABC claimed 10.6 million viewers for second place, while NBC grabbed 3.9 million.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25, according to Nielsen Media Research, increased 3.3 percent to 39.3 million.
