has announced that Curtis Circulation Company, LLC will launch Black
Health nationally and internationally, published by Atlanta-based

Black Health Magazine, a bimonthly healthy living publication, strives
to empower African Americans with the information they need to make
holistic, healthy lifestyle choices. While medical healthcare is one of
the primary concerns of Black Health Magazine, the publication also
addresses the physical, nutritional, beauty, financial, emotional and
mental care of its readers.
The six-times-a-year magazine will have a circulation of 185,000 and a
cover price of $3.99. Yearly subscription costs are $18.00 plus tax and
can be purchased online at
www.blackhealthmag.com. The December 2008 issue features articles on
nutrition, glamour, emotional health, healthy living, fitness and a host
of other health related issues that are unique to the African American
community.
"This is a remarkable moment in the history of our company," said Marcus
Oaks, Publisher and CEO. "We believed in the concept, we struggled in
its infancy stage, we endured the hardships of bringing it to the
forefront and now we rejoice in its accomplishments."
