Black TV Ratings for Week of Sept. 27 - Oct. 3
'Undercovers' lead-in makes NBC the week's most watched TV network

(October 5, 2010) In an upset, NBC has pushed perennial leader CBS to third place to become the most watched network in black households. ABC took second place in the most watched category with seven shows that attracted 11.8 million black viewers. CBS took a rare third place with 10.5 million viewers across seven programs.

The total number of viewers tuning in the Top 25 most popular shows in black homes, as cited by Nielsen, was 44.9 million. That represents a 6.5% increase over the previous week.
