One, Inc. names Tim Davies Atlanta vice president/market manager
(September 24, 2008) Radio One, Inc. has announced that effective
immediately Tim Davies will assume the role of Vice President/ Market
Manager for WJZZ-FM, WHTA-FM, WPZE-FM and WAMJ-FM in Atlanta.
Bruce Demps, Regional Vice President for Radio One stated, "I know Tim
has what it takes to lead our cluster as we evolve into the preeminent
vehicle to reach the large influential African-American market. His
record of accomplishment will continue in Atlanta."
Mr. Davies brings over 20 plus years of broadcasting experience
including a prior stint with Radio One in Houston. For the past six
years he has produced tremendous results for the Clear Channel Radio
cluster based in Memphis.
