Gabrielle Austin named president of Ethnic Print Media Group

2, 2008) Ethnic Print Media Group (EPMG), a multicultural print
management firm, announces the hiring of Gabrielle Austin as President.
Gabrielle has 25 years of experience in promotional advertising,
marketing and print media management.

Gabrielle is an experienced professional in business development and
organic account growth. Her general market agency experience,
multicultural expertise, solutions-oriented mentality and creativity in
working on diverse businesses throughout her career, will offer EPMG
clients a competitive edge, says Hansen.
Gabrielle began her advertising career with Essence Magazine. As
Director of the Mid West Division she was instrumental in the magazines
growth. She has held advertising management positions with several major
daily newspapers including the Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald, St. Paul
Pioneer Press and Des Moines Register.
In 1998 Gabrielle joined NSA Media, an IPG company. As the President of
Strategic Print Marketing, a division of NSA, in Atlanta, GA., she has
been responsible for managing multi million dollar clients. Her Atlanta
office was responsible for The Home Depot, Toys R Us, Golfsmith, Eye
Care Centers of America and Bed Bath & Beyond accounts.
Gabrielle has been honored by the Black Women's Hall of Fame, Coca-Cola
Community Service Award, Essence Magazine's President Award-4
consecutive years and many more. Gabrielle recently received the 2007
NNPA "Chairman's Award" for her exemplary support of the Black Press.
In 2006 she was selected as one of the TOP 25 most Influential Women in
Atlanta. Ms. Austin is involved in many organizations including the
National Association of Female Executives, the Women's Advertising guild
and the National Association of Minority Media Executives.
As President of EPMG she is charged with new business growth and
corporate development. She remains based in Atlanta where she resides
with her husband, Wayne. Gabrielle is also the proud mother of three
sons.
San Diego-based EPMG serves a network of more than 1,200 Hispanic,
Black, and Asian newspapers by delivering an effective, strategic
approach to multicultural marketing.
