Sanders\Wingo
marks a year of major growth with move to new headquarters
(August
26, 2008) Sanders\Wingo, the fifth largest African American-owned agency
in the country, has expanded its offices and staff thanks to significant
account growth this year. The fifteen-year-old agency moved this week
into its new headquarters of 13,000 square feet in Austin, Texas.
The new office space is located in the recently constructed West Campus
Market development near the University of Texas at Austin. Sanders\Wingo
also maintains satellite offices in El Paso, Tex., northern and southern
California, Las Vegas, Detroit and Baltimore.
"This has been a year of very strong agency growth," said Bob Wingo,
agency president and CEO (above). "We have grown to 90 staff members
and expect to expand to 100 by the end of the year. We are on target to
surpass $100 million in capitalized billings for fiscal year 2008."
The agency's growth comes from many different sectors including its
agency of record relationships with Fortune 100 companies AT&T, State
Farm and most recently Chevrolet. It also comes from new business
development with the City of El Paso, Secure Origins, a software
services company, and the technology firm INX.
"This was a very important milestone for us as an agency. We established
this growth goal some years ago and are energized now that we have
reached it," added Mr. Wingo. "Smart growth is critical in order to
maintain the quality of service and insight we've come to be known for."
