Cable TV Ratings for Week of August 4 - 10
'Payne' hangs on the three million mark; USA is the most watched network

(August 13, 2008) The Olympics may be shifting viewing habits on the broadcast network side, but it's business as usual when it comes to cable. "House of Payne" continues to stay a the three million viewers mark for the final half hour of its back-to-back block on TBS. The comedy took the top four positions on the top 25.

USA was the most watched cable network with six shows, followed by VH1 and TBS with four each.

The total number of viewers of the top 25 cable shows dropped by 4.1 percent to 27.3 million, according to Nielsen Media Research.
