IMAGES USA expands multicultural capabilities with appointment of Joan Villas

(June 21, 2008) IMAGES USA, a national multicultural marketing communications agency, has announced the promotion Joan Villas to Senior Account Executive.

His role will be to improve the multicultural market outreach by delivering strategic marketing plans, creating relationships with potential clients, and reinforcing the agency's Hispanic capabilities.

Mr. Villas joined IMAGES in late 2004 and has worked in various departments within the agency, first as an intern with Market Research, where he conducted ethnographic fieldwork and helped with survey tabulation and analysis, rapidly demonstrating skills to multi-task in all areas of the agency. He continued his internship in the Finance Department where he became an Accounting Executive, in charge of accounts payable and client budgets. While in Finance, he supported the Amtrak Hispanic team and had the opportunity to work on the Jack Daniel's account, for the program Jack Daniel's Art, Beats & Lyrics, which served as his transition to Account Services.

"Mr. Villas is a tireless worker that has shown tremendous potential to help our clients grow their business" said John Lockyer, Executive Vice President, "He will incorporate his vast agency operations experience into the service of our clients and especially to complement our Hispanic team."
Mr. Villas, born in Colombia, South America, holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics with a minor in Marketing from Kennesaw State University. Prior to joining IMAGES Joan worked with Equifax and American Express.

Founded in 1989, the Atlanta-based IMAGES agency offers marketing expertise to clients wanting to reach, motivate and influence African-American, Hispanic and Asian consumers. The agency's client roster includes America Online (AOL), Amtrak, Cardinal Health, FedEx, International Speedway Corporation, Georgia Lottery, Hillshire Farm, National Black Arts Festival, Proctor and Gamble and Wachovia. Additional information on IMAGES USA, including award-winning work and recognitions, can be found at www.imagesusa.net.
