Cable TV Ratings for Week of June 16 - 22
'Payne' keeps claim over the top 24 cable shows; USA is most watched network

(June 24, 2008) Here we go again. It's business as usual for the top 25 most popular cable shows in black households. "House of Payne" ruled the top four spots, while other kid-oriented favorites shifted closer to the top as out-of-school youngsters take control of the remote control. Payne topped the 2.5 million viewers during the third week of June.

USA was easily the most watched cable network, with 10 shows on the top 25. TBS and Disney followed with four shows each. Adult Swim's "American Dad" posted on the list for the first time.

The total number of viewers for the top 25 shows, according to Nielsen data, was 23.9 million. This represents an increase of seven percent over the previous week's total.
