Cable TV Ratings for Week of June 9 - 15
'House of Payne' makes usual clean sweep of top 25; Disney is top network

(June 20, 2008) Cable viewing in black households settled back to old habits following coverage of basketball and politics. TBS's "House of Payne" made a clean sweep of the top 25 most popular cable shows, and boosted its audience to a record three million black viewers.

The most watched cable network for the second week of June was Disney with six entries on the top 25. Nickelodeon followed with five, and TBS had four.

The total number of viewers of the top 25 cable shows, according to Nielsen Media Research, was 22.3 million, a drop of five percent from the previous week.
