TV Ratings for Week of June 9 - 15
Black households were one-third of record-setting NBA Finals audience

(June 11, 2008) The heavily promoted NBA Championship series between the Lakers and Celtics drew a record setting audience for the league. Games three, four and five had an average of 4.5 million black viewers -- an average of 30% of the total audience for each game. ABC dominated the top 25 chart by adding to the games the pre-game shows that averaged 1.5 million viewers and took the sixth, seventh and eighth spots on the chart.

CBS remained the most watched network with 11 entries on the chart. Fox followed with seven shows, and ABC had six -- all NBA related.

The total number of viewers for the top 25, according to Nielsen Media Research, was 37.4 million. That�s an increase of 11% over the previous week.
