TV Ratings for Week of June 2 - 8
Basketball fever rolls on with historic ratings; CBS dominates half of top 25

(June 11, 2008) The basketball jones has carried over from the fever of cable's airing of the playoff games to the Finals match-up between Boston and L.A. The games and pre-game programming captured the top four spots of the top 25 shows with black households. The second face-off drew four million viewers.

Despite ABC's good fortune, it didn't make even a dent in CBS' domination of the chart. Thirteen of the top 25 were CBS shows, easily giving it most watched network status for the week. Fox had six, while ABC posted five.

The total number of viewers of the top 25 was 33 5 million, according to Nielsen data, or a 37% increase over the previous week.
