TV Ratings for Week of May 5 - 11
Top 25 shows for black viewers changes little; ABC, CBS tie for top network

(May 13, 2008) With the second week of the May sweeps period gone, it looks like déjà vu all over again. The top 25 shows in black households this week looks a lot like the previous one, which probably means the promotions and plot lines the networks are offering are working as best they can. The one notable exception to the week was the Saturday NBA playoff game on ABC which attracted 1.5 million black viewers.

The tally for most-watched network shifted by one and put ABC and CBS in a tie for first place with nine shows each on the chart. Fox took second place (or third depending on how you count) with four entries.

Even the total number of viewers watching the top 25 was virtually unchanged at 34.3 million, just one percent less than the previous week.
