Black TV Ratings for Week of April 26 - May 2
CBS regains most watched network status over Fox in black households

(May 4, 2010) Fox's ride as the dominant network on the Top 25 chart of black households' favorite shows has ended with CBS back as the leader. Fox fell from the pedestal when its new entry, "Glee" failed to make the cut. Also missing was "American Dad", the animated comedy that follows "Cleveland." Plus, all of Fox's favorites except "American Idol" had significant drops in black audience.

CBS took the top network spot with 13.5 million for 11 of its shows on the Top 25. Fox followed with 8.8 million for seven of its shows. ABC was third with 7.6 million black viewers for seven of it shows.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 most popular shows in black homes, according to Nielsen, was 32.1 million, or 4.4 percent more than the previous week.
