The Week
of April 23 – 29
It’s One, Two, Three again for Fox; CBS’ eight shows make it top net again
(May
1, 2007) Fox finishes in first, second and third place for the fourth
consecutive week. In the week before the ratings sweep begins, “American
Idol” is as solid as ever, and “House” remains the third most popular show
in black households.
It’s also four-in-a-row for the week’s top network, CBS, which had eight
shows on the top 25 for the fourth week in April. CSI: Miami was again
leading the CBS pack. ABC came in second with seven entries, followed by
three each for CW and NBC.
The total number of black households watching the top 25, according to
Nielsen data, was 31 million. That’s a one percent gain over the previous
week’s total.
