taps ACE Media Corp. to rep ‘Tyler Perry’s House of Payne’

23, 2007) ACE (Andrea’s Communications Empire) Media Corp. has been
selected to represent Turner Broadcasting System’s (TBS) multi-cultural ad
sales for the original, first-run syndicated sitcom, Tyler Perry’s House
of Payne. The series, which enjoyed a highly-successful test run in summer
2006, will launch nationally with a 100 complete episodes on TBS in
primetime in June 2007.

sales team, but also to represent such a highly-anticipated and
groundbreaking property as House of Payne,” says Andrea Holmes Thompkins,

Tyler Perry’s House of Payne follows the comic situations that ensue when
a multi-generational family lives under one roof. It stars Allen Payne
(“New Jack City,” “Jason’s Lyric”) as C.J. Payne who is forced to move in
with his parents after his house burns down. The series is produced by
Tyler Perry, who since making his film debut with “Diary of a Mad Black
Woman” has become a multi-media phenomenon with a roster of successful
film, stage, TV and book projects, most recently Lionsgate’s “Daddy’s
Little Girls.”
ACE, an ethnically-focused broadcasting media sales and marketing
communications firm, was founded in 2004 by Holmes Thompkins, a veteran
media sales executive. She who has more than 20 years media sales
experience including work with WWOR-TV and WNYW-TV.
Among the programs that ACE has represented are The Super Bowl, The Emmy
Awards, American Idol and World Wrestling Entertainment. The firm’s client
roster has included American Express, BMW, Chase, Coca Cola, Chrysler,
Ford, Kraft, MasterCard, McDonalds’s, Mercedes Benz, Nike, Pepsi, Proctor
& Gamble, Toyota, Visa and Walmart. ACE also represents Uptown Media
Network, a nationally-syndicated urban media network, a division of First
World Syndication.
