TV Ratings for Week of April 21 - 27
ABC holds on to gains made with black households following debate week

(April 29, 2008) The dynamic duo of both airings "American Idol" assumed their usual positions at the top of the 25 most popular TV  shows in black households. "Dancing with the Stars" finished third, but the show headed the charts in a good week for ABC.

ABC was the most watched network again with eight shows posted on the chart for the finale week of April. This give the network a big boost going into the sweeps period. CBS took second place with six shows, followed by Fox which claimed five programs.

The total number of black viewers watching the top 25 shows, according to Nielsen, was 33.7 million, a virtual tie with the previous week's total of 33.4 million.
