Cable TV Ratings for Week of April 14 - 20
'Payne' stays on top; 'Law & Order' makes USA most-watched network

(April  24, 2008) The status quo for the most popular cable shows in black households was only slightly interrupted last week by the NBA Playoffs. "House of Payne" remained No.1 and 2, with "Flavor of Love" again in third. But the NBA had three games on the chart as well, signaling the likelihood of good ratings through to the finals.

USA was the week's most watched network, thanks to a boost from "Law & Order: SVU," which gave the network four of its six shows on the chart. BET was second in popularity with six programs, followed by TBS and VH1 which tied for third with five show.

The total number of viewers for all of the top 25 cables shows during the third week of April was 24 million, which represented a drop of 13 percent from the previous week.
