Black TV Ratings for Week of April 11 - 17
'Dancing' remains most popular show on Top 25 chart, but CBS leads networks

(April 19, 2011) ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" continued to be the No.1 TV show in black households during the second week of April. Drawing more than two million black viewers, it claims a half million more watchers than "American Idol." If history is a guide, the show will be challenged to hold on to those viewers as the number of black contestants shrinks.

CBS held on to its distinction of most watched TV network, with a total of 14.4 million tuning in 12 of its leading shows. ABC had 8.1 million for six of its programs. Fox notched 6.6 million across five shows on the chart.

Nielsen recorded 31.7 million black viewers for the Top 25, representing a drop of 17 percent from the first week of April.
