TV Ratings for Week of April 7 - 13
NCAA men's championship game leads CBS' dunk on Top 25 viewing

(April 16, 2008) The NCAA College basketball’s final game was a nail-biter that held audiences until the last seconds. In Kansas and Memphis match-up, CBS shared victory with Kansas as three million black viewers pushed the game to No.1 on the top 25 shows of the week ["American Idol" took first place in white households and the game finished fifth].

Basketball led CBS' eleven shows on the list, making it the week's most-watched network. It was followed by ABC with six, Fox which claimed five, NBC posting two and the CW with one.

The total number of viewers for the top 25, according to Nielsen Media Research, was 35.4 million, a two percent decrease from the previous week.
