(April 8, 2011) Antonia "Toya" Carter, who made her debut on BET's hit
series TINY & TOYA, is back with a new reality-based show, TOYA: A
FAMILY AFFAIR, premiering Tuesday, April 12 at 10:00 p.m. [ET] Viewers
will follow her journey as she continues to carve out a personal and
professional path for herself while dealing with the burden of keeping
her troubled family together and out of the perils of street life.
TINY & TOYA's debut garnered 3 million viewers and is the No.1 reality
series premiere in BET's history. Produced by the same award-winning
executive producer, James DuBose of DuBose Entertainment, who brought us
TINY & TOYA, TOYA: A FAMILY AFFAIR promises to bring another captivating
series of dramatic and inspiring and at times fun-filled reality
television to BET.
Toya's anticipated new memoir, "Priceless Inspirations," will be
released by Farrah Gray Publishing on April 15. The book includes a
foreword by Toya's ex-husband, multi-Grammy® Award-winner Lil' Wayne and
speaks to girls and young women facing tough challenges regarding love,

adjustments in a slowly growing economy. The finding comes from the 16th annual edition of "The Buying Power of Black America"
report published by Target Market News..
In 2009, black households spent an estimated $507 billion in 27 product
and services categories. That's an increase of 16.6% over the $435 billion
