Cable TV Ratings for Week of March 31 - April 6
'House of Payne' and Disney network repeat their winning ways

(April 10, 2008) It was another week at the top of the charts for TBS' "House of Payne." In fact, it was pretty much a repeat for key categories for the top 25 most popular cable shows in black households. The first, second, third and fourth positions were the same, and their ratings shares were very similar.

Disney again lined-up the most programs on the chart with a total of nine (one better than last week). TBS captured four spots, while BET and ESPN had three each.

The total number of viewers for the top 25 cable shows, according to Nielsen Media Research, was 24.7 million, or 3.7 percent below the previous week.
