Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of March 29 - April 4
BET gains viewers for shows on the Top 25, narrowing the gap with TBS

(April 7, 2010) For the second consecutive week, BET has increased the number of viewers it attracted for its most popular shows on the Top 25 cable programs in black households. BET posted a 21 percent increase in audience for its Top 25 shows, while perennial winner, TBS, saw a 13 percent drop in viewers of shows on the chart.

TBS retained the most watched network of the week title, with 8.1 million tuning in six shows. BET was second with 6.2 million watching seven programs on the chart. USA claimed third place 4.2 million for four slots.

The total number of viewers watching the Top 25, according to Nielsen data, dipped just one percent from the previous week to 25.6 million.
