Cable TV Ratings for Week of March 24 - 30
'Payne' remains most popular cable show; Disney is most watched network

(April 2, 2008) TBS' "House of Payne" continued its domination of the most popular prime time cable shows with black households. "Flavor of Love" managed to break up Tyler Perry's usual Tri-fecta by attracting a tenth of a percentage point more audience and thus claiming third place. [Rankings are based on the percentage of African-American viewers captured of all those watching at that particular hour.]

Thanks to the Easter holiday, and therefore a lack of "school nights," the kids took over the remote control and pushed Disney to No.1 of the week's most watched cable network. [There were 26 shows on this week's list, thanks to a tie for the final spot.] It had eight shows on the chart. BET and TBS followed with three shows each and a tie for second.

The total number of viewers for the top 25 shows was 25.7 million, or five percent less than the previous week.
