'Payne' maintains No.1 spot; BET is week's most watched cable network

(March 21, 2008) TBS' "House of Payne" easily held on to the No.1 and No.2 spots on the top 25 most popular cable shows for the second week of March. Both airings of the Tyler Perry sitcom pulled in well over two million black viewers.

"College Hill" took third place and led the way for BET to claim the title as the week's most watched network among black cable viewers. The network posted six shows on the top 25. It was followed by TBS which had four programs, and VH1 and USA which had three each.
