American Minority
Health Network announces changes in executive officers
(March 17, 2010) AMHN, parent company of America's Minority Health
Network, Inc., announced that due to its expanded network operations,
its Board of Directors effected changes in its officers and directors of
the Company.
Robert Cambridge, who previously served as the Company's President and
Chief Executive Officer will now serve as the Company's Chairman of the
Board and Chief Executive Officer.
The Company's Board of Directors also appointed Charles Richardson, a
member of the Company's Board of Directors, to serve as the Company's
President. Mr. Richardson is a marketing and communications expert who
has specialized in the urban consumer market for more than 25 years and
has extensive knowledge with operations of place-based media companies.
Previously, Mr. Richardson served with a major marketing and advertising
communications company specializing in the African-American market by
providing market research, public relations, sales promotion, and
strategic planning to Fortune 1000 companies, the healthcare industry
and to governmental agencies.
Robert Cambridge, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, stated: "I have
had a close working relationship with Charles for many years. His
background in advertising sales will be especially helpful as America's
Minority Health Network expands its subscriber base and presents its
advertising opportunities to the top media marketplace. Mr. Richardson's
efforts will enable us to generate the advertising revenue we need to
support the network and move the Company toward profitability."
Charles Richardson, the Company's President, stated, "I'm happy to be
working closely with Robert again and look forward to our Company's
growth as we expand our reach through a growing subscriber base that
will ultimately bring greater awareness of health issues and related
products to the African-American community. I will be focusing on
obtaining advertising revenue upon reaching the completion of first
