Black TV Ratings for Week of March 7 - 13
'Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior' moves up again on Top 25

(March 16, 2011) With "American Idol" back to its two usual airings a week following the addition of last week's special, CBS's "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" was able to move into the No.3 spot of highest rated shows in black households. The crime drama is one of the few prime time programs with an African-American, Forrest Whitaker, in the lead role -- a point of pride, no doubt, with its 1.5 million black viewers.

CBS remained the most watched TV network for the week, with 10.9 million tuning 10 of its Top 25 shows. The second most popular network was Fox, with 8.3 million watching six of its programs. NBC was a distant third with 3.1 million for three shows.

According to Nielsen tracking data, 29.8 million black viewers watched the Top 25 during the first week in March. That's a drop of 10 percent from the previous week's total.
