statement on its resignation of American Airlines account
(March 12, 2008) GlobalHue, the nation's largest multicultural advertising
agency, has announced in a statement that it has resigned the American
Airlines business, effective March 12, 2008.
The statement said that "the agency began working with American Airlines
in 2000 and, one year later, kicked off the successful "Comfort Zone"
campaign. Since that time, GlobalHue has launched other brand marketing
initiatives, including the "We Know Why You Fly" brand campaign that
evolved into a multimedia platform for American Airlines and has
significantly expanded its brand awareness with African-American
consumers."
The statement continued by saying "GlobalHue would like to thank American
Airlines for the opportunity to work with them in targeting African
Americans and wish them well as they continue to make a connection with
this important customer."
