Cable TV Ratings for Week of February 21 - 27 BET regains the
No.1 spot on the Top 25 cable chart with 'The Game' (March
3, 2011) After being edged out of the top spot by the NBA All-Star Game,
BET's "The Game" returned to its usual No.1 position among the Top 25
cable shows in black households. The show's two-hour block of
back-to-back new and past episodes is bracketed by the relationship
comedy, "Let's Stay Together," which took the No.2 spot.
BET was again the most watched cable network in black households, with
11.6 million tuning in eight of its shows on the Top 25. TBS was second
with 6.9 million for seven shows. ESPN took third place with 4 million
viewers for three programs.
The total number of viewers watching the Top 25 cable shows during the
last week of February, according to Nielsen, was 30.4 million. That's a
drop of 17 percent from the previous week.
